Yes, cannabis is legal in Canada for both medical and recreational use. The legalization of recreational cannabis was implemented on October 17, 2018 under the Cannabis Act. As for medical cannabis, it has been legal since 2001 and is currently regulated by the Cannabis Regulations, following the Federal Medical Marijuana Program.

Medical cannabis can help relieve symptoms such as chronic pain, anxiety and sleep disorders, improving quality of life by enabling patients to lead more comfortable, functional lives.

Medical cannabis must be ordered directly from a licensed producer after your prescription has been submitted. The producer will contact you to finalize the order and ship the products directly to your home.
